The Springfield family
In 2013, Ben and Lena Way made the decision to move out of their city apartment, give up their corporate jobs and set-up life on the land, allowing Ben to return to his country roots. In 2014, they established Springfield Pastured Egg Farm on their 120-acre lot situated in Springfield, between Victoria’s Macedon Ranges and The Great Dividing Range. With their two young children in mind, they decided that what matters as artisanal food producers is nutritional value, taste, chemical-free agriculture and ethics. Fast forward a few years, and Ben and Lena’s farm produces 10,000 plus award-winning free range eggs every week by hens raised on rotated pasture in high welfare conditions. They are extremely proud to produce such a high quality and nutritious product for your family and customers to enjoy.
